Prestigious Company is seeking a dynamic and proactive Project Engineer to plan and perform project management and sustaining engineering functions within the engineering department.

Essential Functions:

Independently determines project scope, develops a preliminary plan of investigation, and determines project specifications such as cost, time and sample requirements by analysing customer input.

Work with the engineering team to ensure specification compliance in the areas of; design, system performance and delivery criteria.

Ability to design complex assemblies for manufacturing using Solidworks.

Ability to coordinate mold tool manufacturing, design and qualification. Must have familiarity with the injection molding process. Insert molding experience is desired.

Develop work instructions and assembly/component level drawings

Participate in design reviews internally and with external suppliers and customers.

Communicates project status and results to customers through frequent contact and communication efforts.

Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA Medical Device Directives and other applicable standards.

Creation and maintenance of technical files including, design history folders.

Investigation of new materials/processes/equipment to further broaden the company's capabilities.

Sustaining engineering activities as required.

Troubleshooting and root cause investigations.

Experience with creating and executing qualification protocols such as design verification tests, installation

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field

3+ years of relevant experience in an engineering role

3+ years experience with Solidworks and AutoCAD design software

3+ years experience apllying project-handling experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Skills and Abilities:

Excellent written and oral communication skills; must have the ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing and in person.

Demonstrate strong inter-departmental communication and cooperation skills.

Must have strong technical, communication and extensive problem solving skills.

Work Hours: Full Time

Pay: $75,000 to $85,000 USD
Pay Period: Annual
