Infrasense, Inc. is a world leader in the development and application of advanced Non-destructive evaluation methods of highways and other infrastructure facilities. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and diligent candidate for the position of Engineering Technician. The Engineering Technician will be responsible for field data collection, analysis of field data, preparation of condition maps, reports and other deliverable items. The ideal candidate should have an Associates of Science in Engineering Technology with a focus in Civil Engineering or a related field; able to work with and handle electronic measurement equipment; able to work independently; able to coordinate with clients and subcontractors in the field; and have a willingness/ desire to travel. Collect data on bridge decks, pavements, and other infrastructure facilities for projects throughout the United States.
Plan field work including making travel arrangements, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, preparing required field documents, and packing equipment.
Maintain organization and functionality of all data collection equipment.
Participate in data analysis under supervision of Infrasense Project Managers.
Associates's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geophysics, or other relevant field with 2 to 4 years related experience
Experience with various Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Windows 7 and 10 desktops and a Windows network environment
Self-motivated with the ability to work proactively and achieve results without close supervision
Excellent written and verbal communications skills; with the ability to establish effective working relationships
Organized individual, with excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and able to change priorities quickly and work effectively under deadlines
Valid driver's license
