Optimus data is working with an amazing company who are looking to hire a talented Data Scientist expert to join their team in the eye-catching city of Munich. You will become part of the data team and have the chance to grow your own team at the company as your career grows.
The company is looking for someone who fits into their friendly yet professional culture, someone they can really grow a team around, someone who could be the Head Data Science.
There would be two essential projects you would work on. First one is Machine-Vision, heavy image processing. At the end, the machine will be able to securely identify a person by a selfie video and his/her ID Card. The second one is authentication based on behavioural biometrics
The company is open with regards to what frameworks you favour as it is a very autonomous position.
Master degree or equivalent in Computer Vision or related disciplines
Skills and Experience
Advanced knowledge and experience in methods for computer vision, pattern recognition/machine learning, computer graphics or similar field
Proficiency with at least one of the following languages: Python, Java or C#
Experience with development of user interfaces and/or data visualization tools is beneficial
Fluent in English
Innovative, motivated, quick learner, and a team player
Enjoys working in interdisciplinary teams and in a dynamic environment
Excellent problem-solving skills
Demonstrates initiative and creativity by originating, anticipating and implementing new ideas
